The Forests for the Bay Registry lets conservation buyers find your projects. Each project developed through the Woodland Crediting Platform has a public listing that highlights the general site location, type, and official issuance organization (e.g. local governments). This basic information allows buyers to see if your project meets their needs.
You can also include a link to your Bay Bank Conservation Marketplace listing to provide more information. If you are just getting started, the Registry also allows you to see what types of conservation projects are being implemented in your area.
This tool helps you turn your land management actions into conservation funding and communicate the many environmental benefits that your land provides. Land managers can map their projects, create multiple project designs, and manage their projects through approvals for select conservation programs.
Use the tabs above to learn how the WCP can help you. When you are ready to use the tool, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Forests for the Bay is a free, voluntary membership program made up of small and medium sized landowners. Forests for the Bay provides woodland management training, eases woodland owner access to conservation funding, and develops educational initiatives. Forests for the Bay is managed by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
